The mission of Purpose 4 My Pain (P4MP) is to be a resource that provides mentorship, media engagement, and victim advocacy that infuses hope, motivation, and empowerment by telling the stories of those who have been personally affected by gun violence.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to ensure that the voices of those impacted or injured by gun violence are heard.

Healing Trauma Through The Arts - February 11, 2023

Presented by the Kween Project, P4MP, and IMPD Non-Fatal Advocates. Program will be presented at P30 (3039 Post Road, Indianapolis, IN 46225) on February 11, 2023 from 10 am – 12 pm EST. The event is for ages 10 and up (no more 3 family members per household please).  The Kween Project will be guiding a discussion on healing trauma through arts. We will come together to create healing boxes during the discussion as we network over breakfast. This event is about arts, working through trauma and grief, and building community.

DeAndra Dycus and Purpose 4 My Pain have been nominated as an “Non-profit of the Year” award candidate for the 2023 Re-Up Awards being held in Indianapolis on March 18, 2023 at the The Spotlight Conmunity Center (5060 E 62nd St Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46220)!

Diamonds with a Purpose (DWAP) is a group coaching program designed for ladies ages 18-35 years of age. The focus of the DWAP is to build and promote sisterhood while learning and developing important adult life skills in a supportive environment.  Sessions will be lead by amazing women who are excited to pour back!

Coaching sessions include: Developing and maintaining healthy Relationships, Budget and Finance, Entrepreneurship, Act like a Lady think like a Man, Sis are you OK - Mental Health Support Check in, Self Love/The power of personal forgiveness, Single Mother Chat, Walking in Purpose, Loving and Living after grief and loss, and much much more!

Registration takes place through March 1, 2023. There will be a program “Meet and Greet” on March 15th from 6:30-7:30pm via Zoom, and the program officially kicks off on Saturday, March 25 at 11am!
